# Upstream engine patches Wo keeps its Electron integration patch against Electron `v45.0.0` (`54f961b44b83e4ece81065ab60a182fd0c38c01e`) in `wo-electron-v45.patch`. The CEF patch targets source commit `e537569ecda2e3f23ffdac559ecf7f80b8e59467` and is stored in `wo-cef.patch`. The Electron patch removes the old 240 FPS offscreen ceiling; Wo supplies each Electron window's current output refresh rate to `webContents.setFrameRate()`. The CEF patch prevents the compositor interval from rounding to zero at high rates and documents updating the per-browser rate when a window changes displays. Both engines already expose shared/native-pixmap offscreen callbacks; Wo's native addon transfers their DMA-BUF descriptors using `SCM_RIGHTS`. Apply both patches to their corresponding source checkouts with: ```sh packaging/engines/apply-wo-patches.sh /path/to/electron-v45 /path/to/cef ``` The Electron and CEF repositories need their matching Chromium source and toolchains to build. These patches were reviewed against the checked-out source but a full Chromium/Electron/CEF build was not run.
