# MoanNotes feature checklist
|
|
|
|
This list is the acceptance gate for the Smali-patched MoanNotes build. A box is checked only after it is exercised on the Xiaomi device without a full-panel side effect.
|
|
|
|
## Core writing
|
|
|
|
- [ ] Pen, pencil, marker, highlighter, and eraser retain strokes after release and reopen.
|
|
- [ ] Brush width, opacity, pressure response, and configurable stabilization are saved per tool.
|
|
- [ ] Shape assist can be enabled or disabled and does not alter ordinary freehand strokes.
|
|
- [ ] Undo and redo retain page and layer boundaries.
|
|
- [ ] Partial refresh stays confined to the changed region and safely releases on exit.
|
|
|
|
## Document structure
|
|
|
|
- [ ] Notes support multiple pages and a selectable paper or reference background, including the bundled monochrome college-ruled sheet.
|
|
- [ ] Layers can be created, renamed, reordered, hidden, locked, and assigned independent opacity.
|
|
- [ ] Blend modes expose Normal, Multiply, Screen, and Overlay where the native renderer supports them.
|
|
- [ ] The monochromatic selector offers white, black, and named greys with a persistent default.
|
|
- [ ] Handwriting mode can persistently snap a stylus stroke to its nearest ruled baseline without changing its internal letter shape.
|
|
- [ ] PDF and image import remain scrollable beneath handwriting.
|
|
|
|
## Interchange
|
|
|
|
- [ ] Export provides PDF, PNG, and `.kra` choices before writing a file.
|
|
- [ ] `.kra` preserves paint layers, visibility, opacity, stroke appearance, and supported blend modes.
|
|
- [ ] Export failure leaves the original note untouched and reports a specific error.
|
|
|
|
## Patch quality
|
|
|
|
- [ ] IconPark pen, paper, and export glyphs render at 24 dp with readable contrast.
|
|
- [ ] Touch targets remain at least 44 dp without hiding drawing tools in an overflow menu.
|
|
- [ ] The APK is rebuilt from the original input and installed with `reinstall:moannotes`.
|
